Pharmacy Residency Program

With the completion of your didactic pharmacy education, the focus turns quickly to becoming a successful, proficient clinical practitioner. MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, a respected health care leader in the Midwest and the longest continually-operating hospital in Des Moines, invites you to take the next step in your pharmacy career with us. 

The pharmacy residency programs are based at the MercyOne Des Moines campus, with additional learning experience opportunities at MercyOne West Des Moines and affiliated hospitals. We offer ASHP-accredited residency programs for PGY-1 Pharmacy and PGY-2 Emergency Medicine. Our preceptors and mentors have many years of diverse experience and are committed to sharing their vast clinical knowledge, ensuring our residents achieve their full potential.
