Collin Foster, MD, is a pediatrician at MercyOne Waukee Pediatrics Care.
“My favorite part of pediatrics is forming long-term health care relationships with children and families. Having the trust of the family to guide them through various illnesses and life stages is extremely rewarding and is an honor I don’t take lightly,” said Collin. “Every child and every family is unique and partnering with them as we work towards their health goals is what being a pediatrician is all about.”
Collin received his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Iowa. His clinical interests include caring for young athletes and primary care for type 1 diabetes.
“I grew up in Clive/Waukee and have seen the impact of high-quality health care on my community,” said Collin. “My work at MercyOne allows me to contribute to the overall health of the kiddos in my hometown. Delivering this kind of impact is dream come true and I hope to serve children/families for many years to come.”
Outside of work, Collin and his wife enjoy staying active with hikes, bike rides, dog walks and golf.
