About this event
This in-person, interactive, comprehensive four-week course provides an in-depth understanding of the labor and birthing experience from pre-labor signs to early labor, active labor, transition, pushing and delivery of baby.
Thursdays (6-8 p.m.) at MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center
You will interact with families in our small and engaging classroom environment to think through evidence-based research. Our instructors will show you several relaxation techniques and comfort measures including breathing, massage and positioning. A tour of the MercyOne birthing suites is included during the last class. You will leave this class feeling confident in designing your desired birth plan.
