This class discusses newborn care following delivery, what to expect during your post-partum stay for mom and baby, security measures, newborn medications and procedures, rooming-in, and advantages of breastfeeding.This class discusses newborn care following delivery, what to expect during your post-partum stay for mom and baby, security measures, newborn medications and procedures, rooming-in, and advantages of breastfeeding. A video on home and car safety will also be shown. **It is highly recommended to complete the Childbirth Preparation class after attending Baby Basics as these two courses compliment each other. If for some reason you are unable to attend, reimbursement will be given only if notification occurs 48 hours prior to the beginning of class by calling 563-421-7794.
