2020 MercyOne House of Mercy Game Show Gala is Canceled
May 3, 2020The health and well-being of our community, supporters and colleagues is one of our top priorities at MercyOne Des Moines Foundation. We have made the difficult decision to cancel the 11th annual MercyOne House of Mercy Game Show Gala.
Established in 2010, the Gala has raised more than $2.7 million for MercyOne House of Mercy. In fiscal year 2019, the organization served 2,522 clients through recovery, halfway housing, permanent housing, adolescent group living, substance abuse and mental health treatment.
We’d like to acknowledge and thank our 2020 Game Show Gala sponsors. Thank you for your generosity and support.
“We are very grateful to our 2020 sponsors who have graciously continued their philanthropic support even with the event’s cancelation,” said MercyOne Des Moines Foundation President, Shannon Cofield. “Like many other non-profits, House of Mercy has endured additional financial struggles due to the pandemic. It’s the generosity from our sponsors and donors that will ease the burden felt during this time.”
