MercyOne Children’s Hospital Heart Superheroes will be featured at the 2023 Principal Charity Classic. These five children – ranging in age from three years old to eight years old – are patients who experienced life-saving cardiac care surgeries and procedures at MercyOne Children’s Hospital. On Friday, June 2, they will be on-site at Principal Charity Classic at Wakonda Club in Des Moines.

Caysen Eigenheer, a former MercyOne Children’s Hospital Heart Superhero, will participate in the opening tee off to start the tournament.

The Heart Superheroes will also be featured on the MercyOne Des Moines Foundation, MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center and Principal Charity Classic social media accounts leading up and during the tournament.
