Donor Spotlight: MercyOne Des Moines Auxiliary

MercyOne Des Moines Auxiliary has a long history of supporting MercyOne Central Iowa patient care programs and services.
Comprised of more than 1,500 colleague and community members, MercyOne Des Moines Auxiliary is one of MercyOne Central Iowa’s largest donors having donated more than $10 million to various projects. The organization is especially supportive of programs and services that impact women, children and Mercy College of Health Sciences students. Most recently, the Auxiliary helped fund the creation of the Ronald McDonald House at MercyOne Children’s Hospital – one of only a handful in the country to be in a hospital.
The financial support of the organization is made possible by the success of the MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center gift shop and Starbucks. Each year, the net profits from these Auxiliary-managed operations are combined with money raised through other events and granted to a variety of activities and programs throughout the organization.

As a member, you will receive 20 percent off all purchases at MercyOne Gift House and Flowers and the MercyOne Des Moines Starbucks.
