Patient Care Technician (PCT) Training Program
- Paid education, training and benefits
- 150 hours of classroom, skills lab and clinical learning
- Hands-on support experience alongside MercyOne clinical teams
- Eligible for promotion to a PCT upon completion
- For individuals with no previous CNA training or experience.
Participating locations: Des Moines, Dubuque, Mason City, Siouxland and Waterloo
Pharmacy Technician Training Program
- Learn on the job while working toward certification
- All book, testing and certification costs covered
- Full-time work while completing 500 required hours
- Pay increase and permanent position eligibility after certification

Medical Assistant Training Program
- Two opportunities to learn and grow with MercyOne.
- MercyOne MA Program
- Internal candidates only (6+ months employment)
- 16 weeks of full-time classes, then transition to CMA role
- Paid books and materials
- 5% bonus after certification
Participating locations: Clinton, Des Moines, Mason City, Quad Cities and Waterloo
Mercy College MA Program
- Open to internal and external candidates
- Three-year commitment (first year as a Student MA)
- Remote classes through Mercy College
- Paid books and materials
- MercyOne benefits included
- 5% raise after certification and promotion to CMA
