He understands my condition and has helped me with each of my concerns, especially with my current diagnosis of breast cancer.

We are always given a beeper which is suppose to go off and then we head up for the infusion. The last two times the beeper has not gone off. Someone either calls us or a staff person from second floor has to physically come down and tell us to go upstairs. So the beepers are not working properly.

The nursing staff needs to be a team! There should be no competition, pettiness, back stabbing etc. The only patient should never be aware of these behaviors! Dealing with cancer patients should have the best nurses available with a passion for patient care. It is stressful enough to go through treatment without adding staff issues to the stress!

There was a temp receptionist. I needed to schedule an appointment at Genesis. She told me she would call me back. She did not call. Later that day I called and she did not make the appointment and was told to call myself. I asked for the phone number and was told to look it up myself. When I asked for the address she said she didn鈥檛 know. I said I felt that she was not trying to help me. She hung up on me. I鈥檓 73 and have never had anyone hang up on me. My husband was listening and I asked him if I was ruin and he said absolutely not but she was. I called and left a message to the director of nurses. I did get a call back but did not follow up

One gal who checks us into our room before we see the doctor. We can鈥檛 remember her name, but she gives us a hug every time before she leaves us. We have never seen that done before and it shows as caring and sincere staff member!!!
