Erin Dohlman, PA-C, has a passion for helping her patients reach their health and wellness goals as a primary care provider at MercyOne Urbandale Internal Medicine. Erin previously worked as a physician assistant at MercyOne Iowa Heart Center serving in the vascular surgery department and the vein center.
“I enjoy working for MercyOne. We put patients’ health and well-being first. MercyOne has a network of trusted experts to meet nearly every need my patients may have,” says Erin.
Erin strives to get to know her patients on a personal level in order to personalize care for her patients.
“It’s important to me to maintain long-term relationships with my patients and help them become the healthiest versions of themselves. Getting to know them as individuals is crucial to building trust and understand what’s bothering them,” says Erin.
Erin grew up in Clear Lake, Iowa. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University. Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time outdoors and all the entertainment Des Moines has to offer.
