MercyOne Clinton Medical Center aims to make access to health care easier with two new services
June 10, 2024Clinton, Iowa; June 6, 2024 — MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is now offering two new services to improve patient access to our services and health care: Call 563-421-DOCS and InQuicker.
Finding a primary care provider can be tricky and time-consuming, so MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is taking the guesswork out of the process for patients by adding Call 563-421-DOCS, a quick and easy way to find a provider in the Clinton area.
A primary care provider (PCP) is not just a doctor, they are your trusted health care partner. They provide personalized care for your everyday health needs and guide you through all stages of life. From annual check-ups to routine screenings, they manage your health conditions, allowing you to focus on what matters most – living your best life.
“421-DOCS and InQuicker offer one-stop access to find a PCP and access to care. Patients no longer need to waste time researching online about which provider to pick, asking others how to find a doctor, or cold calling numerous providers to understand who is accepting new patients. We have taken the burden away and created a one-stop shop for access and finding a provider,” said Beau Dexter, MercyOne Vice President Operations, Eastern Division Medical Group.
InQuicker is a convenient, around-the-clock way for patients to confirm or reschedule appointments using the device of their choice. MercyOne’s goal with InQuicker is to increase patient accessibility to care by adding another scheduling option. InQuicker will not replace a patient’s ability to call in or make an appointment at the front desk.
InQuicker is a cloud-based web application that can be accessed online. Scheduling can be done via most web browser-enabled devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and PCs, by searching through a search engine “appointment MercyOne“ or our MercyOne website.
What kinds of appointments can patients schedule through InQuicker? Standard visit types include new patients, physical, well-child, newborn, Medicare annual wellness visits, sick/problem visits, and virtual appointments.
