Originally from Boone, IA, Dr. Greco completed his medical education in the midwest, attending Wartburg College for his undergrad; University of Iowa for his Doctor of Medicine; Vanderbilt University for his internship and residency in Internal Medicine; and Kansas University for his pulmonary critical care fellowship.
With patient care at the top of mind, Dr. Greco pursued a path in health care to offer help both medically and emotionally to his patients. He joined pulmonary medicine due to his interest in helping patients find the cause of conditions such as shortness of breath or assist with pulmonary diagnoses requiring critical care.
Dr. Grego is an active member of the American College of Physicians, American Thoracic Society and Alpha Omega Alpha.
Outside of work, Dr. Greco enjoys being active and participating in tennis, golf, weight training, snowboarding, and biking. Additionally, his hobbies include cooking, watching movies, reading and enjoying college football games.
