The only I can say is that the tests he ordered were a month out and that is too long, but that is not his fault.

Dr. Routh quickly analyzes questions and gives clear answers. He stays true to his competency. I left with an order for a future test already in the system and another test scheduled within a reasonable length of time.

He knows that I have a friend that comes to him and had told us that we could setup our appointments for the same day back to back so we don't have to make two trips from down south, he always remembers that her and I go to lunch after our appointments, he always treats us like friends.

Dr. Routh ordered two tests for me in addition to what was in my file. I now only need to see a heart doc every two years instead of one. Good news. I am happy with him as my new heart doc, however it appears to me that it is difficult to get an appointment with any Iowa Heart doctor without a significant wait unless you have an emergency. And avoiding emergencies is exactly why you want a heart doctor in addition to a family doc.

My husband and I both see him and we go at the same time. It is very beneficial to have our appointments together so we know about each others health issues.
