About this event
This interactive, comprehensive single session in-person class provides the basics of the labor and birthing experience from pre-labor signs to early labor, active labor, transition, pushing and delivery of baby.Second Saturday of every odd month, 9 a.m. -3 p.m.
You will interact with families in our small and engaging classroom environment to think through evidence-based research. Our instructors will introduce you to some relaxation techniques and comfort measures including breathing, massage and positioning. A tour of the MercyOne birthing suites is included during the conclusion of the course. You will leave this class feeling confident in designing your desired birth plan. *Note this class has a $50 fee.
