About this event

Connecting with others who are walking the same path can help you through a cancer journey. Third Thursday of each month 4 – 5 p.m. Located in MercyOne Dubuque Cancer Center | Conference Room Our support circles provide a safe space to receive emotional, educational and practical support.


The groups are led by MercyOne’s resource nurse specialist and other experts who discuss topics related to cancer diagnosis, treatment and coping, including:

  • Nutrition
  • Treatment options
  • Exercise
  • Financial challenges and options
  • Symptom management
  • Available resources
 Open discussion with other patients, survivors, and members of the care team. Anyone with a cancer diagnosis, whether currently receiving treatment or a survivor, as well as loved ones, are welcome to attend.
