I can always rely on Dr. Standing to understand why I wanted to consult with him, and he listens carefully to my comments and answers my questions fully.

I appreciated the time he took to review my blood work and explain and address my questions and concerns.
Dr. Standing has been my primary care doctor since I relocated from Alabama to Iowa. He's guided me through some very difficult prognoses and been an advocate when I reached great outcomes. He's not just a primary care doctor but a personal care doctor and that's more important than just being a competent clinician.
Dr Standing always acts like he really cares. Takes all the time to answer my questions and offers advice when I'm not sure about things.

I especially appreciate that Dr. Standing doesn't jump to conclusions or overreact. He waits until he has a good sense of the problem, asks for additional details, and then shares his view of the problem and possible solutions. His advice has been on target in the past and I have learned to trust his opinions.
