Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), also called physiatry, is a medical specialty aiming to diagnose and treat physical impairments or disabilities related to the brain, spinal cord, nerves and musculoskeletal system with the goal of symptom management for improved function and quality of life. All facets of care are considered and tailored to the patient's individual needs. Dr. Peterson is honored to be part of a team of caregivers living this mission for North Iowans in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.

I moved over an hour away and still drive to see Dr Erin. She's compassionate, forthcoming and takes initiative on my care and medicine. She's irreplaceable!!!
