Bridget Doeden, FNP-C

Bridget Doeden, ARNP, FNP-C, is a family medicine provider at MercyOne Primghar Family Medicine.

Originally from Siouxland, Bridget started her health care career at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, Iowa where she received her Associates of Nursing Degree. She then attended the University of Iowa for her bachelor’s degree before getting her master’s degree from Morningside University as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

“I really believe it’s all about the relationships we create - those with our patients and our communities.”

Throughout her nursing career, which started in 2016, Bridget has worked in several departments including in surgery, in emergency departments and as a pre-operative and PACU nurse. Bridget says MercyOne helps fulfill her passion of providing health care to rural communities.

“I grew up in a rural community. I know the importance of having convenient access. MercyOne provides that to our communities, so patients don’t have to drive hours away to see a provider. I am thrilled to be a part of the Primghar community.”

In her free time, Bridget enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and Iowa State.
