Christy Johnson, PA-C, is certified physician assistant at MercyOne Clinton Family Medicine.

Christy graduated from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University. Christy is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“Medicine allows you to learn for a lifetime. I am passionate about family medicine and I’m excited to start my career at MercyOne. My favorite part about working at MercyOne is the sense of community. I felt such a warm welcome and it feels great to become part of this organization again,” said Christy.

When she’s not providing health care to her patients at MercyOne, Christy enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening, exploring the outdoors, kayaking, crafting, riding horses, gardening and doing farm chores.
