I have always had a strong interest in science and medicine. My father has been an ear, nose and throat physician in Mason City since 1985, which initially inspired my interest in medicine and otolaryngology. I enjoy the complexity and diversity of patients treated in the field of otolaryngology - ranging from all age groups with great overlap with other specialties.
