Jonah Beer, PA, is a board-certified physician assistant with a focus on cardiothoracic surgery at MercyOne Iowa Heart Center Des Moines. Conditions he treats include:

Jonah found a love for cardiac medicine when he worked as a patient care technician in the Intensive Care Unit. This led to his completion of a three-month clinical rotation in cardiothoracic surgery during Physician Assistant school. He learned how to manage critical patients, in addition to valuable surgical skills. He's proud to be part of the Iowa Heart Center and grateful to have a wonderful, supportive team.
Outside of work, Jonah serves on the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistant’s Membership Committee. He also enjoys golfing, seeking out indie music concerts and trying new restaurants in the Des Moines area.
