Joseph Peterson, DO is an emergency medicine physician and the assistant medical director of MercyOne Central Iowa’s emergency departments.
“Since medical school, I knew I wanted to work at MercyOne,” said Dr. Peterson. “I enjoy all of my colleagues and the teamwork that comes with working in the emergency department.”
Practicing since 2011 and certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Peterson received his medical degree from Des Moines University and underwent his emergency medicine residency at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, Wyandotte, Mich.
