Taking care of patients is in my blood. My dad was a family practitioner for 50 years and my uncle was one for 40 years.
Iowa is my home. I love everything it represents. I was born and raised in Eastern Iowa. I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed my residency in family practice at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
I cherish the long-lasting relationships I’ve created with my patients and in my community. Many of my patients I have known for decades, and now I provide personalized care for their children and grandchildren.
I’m a member of the Boy Scouts of America adult leadership in Urbandale and have assisted them in first aid training.
