Laura is an amazing provider. She is very thorough and has so much flexibility with her schedule to see me whenever I need. I know whenever I call if I can’t get into my regular family doctor, Laura will be ready to help. Laura and her nurses truly are a great asset to MercyOne.

The initial visit with the provider was good. However, after I received the results of the swab tests, I was still not prescribed any medicine for the constant cough. I returned 6 days later (2/2/2026) still with a lingering cough and sleepless nights to see if I could get a prescription for cough syrup or antibiotics. I was told the policy is that 5 days is the maximum in which I could obtain a follow up. This facility is not open on weekends either. A provider was contacted after I displayed unsatisfaction, and a prescription for benzonatate was given. After taking the 3 pills for that day and a sleepless night, I was concerned about further complications. This had been going on for over 10 days. So I went to the Morrison Family Care and had a thorough check out and was prescribed an antibiotic. It is now the following morning and I feel on the road to recovery.My feelings are my issue was not initially addressed and a follow up was denied, based on availability of the facility. I was forced to seek out other providers, as I am not from the area. Fortunately, I found much better service else where. I am disappointed that Urgent Care has closed and Mercy One is the only local option. And as a veteran, I am not covered at your facility either. Apparently I am not the only dissatisfied patient, as my newfound provider has heard others relaying subpar experiences at Convenience Care.
