Melissa Lawson, MSN, FNP, is a provider at MercyOne Northeast Iowa Family Medicine and Residency in Waterloo, Iowa. She is passionate about caring for others so they can live their best possible life.

Melissa worked as a registered nurse before returning to school for a master’s degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute. She is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Melissa grew up in Indiana, where her best friend’s mother inspired her to become a nurse. Now a mom herself, Melissa spends free time with her family and their dog. She also enjoys traveling, gardening and crafting.
