Mohamed Shogar, MD, is a provider at MercyOne North Iowa Internal Medicine Residency. He’s passionate about cardiovascular disease because of the complexity of its physiology and the need for both acute and long-term management.
Dr. Shogar wanted to become a medical provider since middle school, as he was inspired by his family and the impact medicine can have on people’s lives. The opportunity to help you during your most vulnerable moments is what continues to bring him a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, especially running and playing tennis.
