I grew up in Peru. I got my bachelor and medical degree from the University of Iowa. 

 

I’m passionate about providing personalized care to keep my patients healthy so they can live their best lives. 

 

I enjoy working alongside my colleagues at MercyOne Ankeny Family Medicine. I take pride in being a part of an organization that is as passionate about healthcare as I am. MercyOne provides the resources for me to provide the best standard of care I can to patients.

Great provider caring and very thorough

covered everything in detail, reviewed my chart before he came in is amazing! Asked questions about how I'm feeling! Got my flu shot pneumonia shot at appointment. Talked through plan had labs and was called by Dr. Bendezu himself the next morning. That is amazing! Thank you.
