Sarah Hyler, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at MercyOne Ankeny Physical Therapy. As a physical therapist, her focus is assisting patients in their journey to recovering from injuries or disabilities, helping them to embrace life with the highest level of functional ability possible.
Sarah grew up in Urbandale, Iowa competing in gymnastics, track, and cheerleading in high school. She graduated from Iowa State University with her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University. Sarah started with MercyOne in October 2022 after working in outpatient orthopedics for a few years previously. She enjoys working with patients of all backgrounds and getting to know them personally to help them return to what is meaningful to them. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and yellow lab. Hobbies include cooking, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors. She participates in her local Pheasants Forever chapter. She also regularly competes in local running and triathlon events.
