Shae Romero, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech therapist at MercyOne Genesis Silvis Physical Therapy. She treats conditions related to:

- Traumatic brain injury
- Parkinson’s disease
- Dementia/Alzheimer’s
- Head and neck cancer
- Pneumonia related to aspiration
She performs functional swallow assessments and is certified in SpeakOut focused on the diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.
Shae believes therapy should be functional, practical, and meaningful for everyday life by combining evidence-based treatment with compassion, encouragement, and support. Her approach is compassionate, individualized and focused on helping you achieve meaningful goals that improve overall quality of life. She works collaboratively with you, your family and the healthcare team to support you every step of the way.
Outside of work, she enjoys expressing creativity through her permanent jewelry business, traveling and spending time with family and her dog.
