William Wortman, MD, FACP, is a board-certified doctor of internal medicine. As an internist, Dr. Wortman specializes in training to care for adults who require preventative medicine, diagnostic medicine and ongoing care for complex conditions. His clinical interests include perioperative medicine, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic liver disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, population health and quality improvement. Procedures he performs include point-of-care ultrasound, joint injections, cryotherapy, incision and drainage, skin biopsy, ultrasound-guided thoracentesis and ultrasound-guided paracentesis. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, landscaping and learning foreign languages.
