William Wortman, MD, FACP, is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. As an internist, Dr. Wortman specializes in training to care for adults who require preventative medicine, diagnostic medicine and ongoing care for complex conditions. I came to the hospital to get some really I am in pain and I am as much pain as I was when I showed up I've always been treated wonderful at Mercy I was so upset with the way they did things my doctor did do an x-ray they looked at it and said they couldn't tell anything because even if it's a disc it hides so why didn't they take at least run a CAT scan I can't have a MRI because I have a pacemaker defibrillator other words they done nothing for me except give me a couple pain shots a pain patch and sent me home in the same way I was and I'm still like that I can't walk on my left leg it is so painful I am going to contact my doctor Monday and see if I can get some help
