3-Day Wavier Nursing Facilities
The Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) 3-Day Waiver removes the requirement for a 3-day inpatient hospital stay prior to a Medicare-covered, post-hospital, extended-care service for eligible beneficiaries. This means, under certain circumstances, you can avoid a hospital stay prior to being admitted to an eligible Skilled Nursing Facility.

These Skilled Nursing Facilities have been contracted by MercyOne as part of Medicare's 3-Day Waiver program. These participating facilities maintain a 3-star CMS rating or higher per the CMS Nursing Home Compare. The facilities have been accepted as part of an application and review process.
