MercyOne Waterloo Early Developmental Intervention

Families who have a child with a disability or a developmental delay can face many challenges and we are here to help you on that journey. EDI is a family centered program. We empower parents and family members by welcoming them in treatment sessions and teaching them exercises and activities to work on with their child. 

MercyOne’s Early Developmental Intervention (EDI) recognizes these challenges and has pediatric trained therapists dedicated to help your child. Our Physical therapists focus on helping children move and play. Our Occupational Therapist’s help increase independence in play and self-cares. Our Speech Language Pathologists work on ways to help your child understand others and communicate their thoughts.
