Physical Therapy

Research shows that physical therapy helps with a variety of pelvic diagnoses, including bladder leakage, incontinence or pelvic pain. At MercyOne, we have a multi-disciplinary approach to women’s health physical therapy to ensure you get the care you need. Our physical therapists work with your primary care provider, midwife and/or OB/GYN, along with a behavioral health and/or pain management provider to offer you the best, most comprehensive care. From diagnosis to rehabilitation, we are here for you.

Bone Density

Women are at a higher risk of osteoporosis and the risk increases with age. MercyOne provides the most accurate test available for detecting osteoporosis and other bone diseases. The DEXA (dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry) scan takes about 10 to 15 minutes and measures the bone loss in your hips and spine. The DEXA scan is similar to having a standard x-ray with only a very small amount of radiation being used.
