I’m 88 years old. I know I can ask any questions & he patiently explains options. When I ask for advise, he gives his advise accompanied by rationale. He is a great record keeper & well versed with options. I can sum this up by saying I trust him with my life!

Even after asking him to repeat what he said, I could not understand what he was saying due to heavy accent!

Dr. Pokharel is a good provider, but he has a very limited ability to discuss medical issues with patients and no interest in encouraging them to discuss their concerns with him.

Overall I was satisfied with the visit and he did explain some stuff and gave me an inhaler antibiotics there was talk of a patch for smoking but I think that probably wouldn't help me but overall it was a good experience

He was very polite and professional and explained everything thoroughly without being too technical. Very down to earth. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good doctor.

I'm hard of hearing so I had to ask Dr. P. to repeat much of the time (he wears a mask and I lip read to a certain extent.

My provider was kind and caring but there was a definite communication barrier. He was hard to understand speaking through his mask and spoke very quickly.

I sometimes have difficulty understanding him because of his accent and he wears a mask. I read lips. But he always repeats until I do.
