MercyOne Clinton OB/GYN expands service, relocates to larger Clinton office
June 25, 2026Like the families it serves, MercyOne Clinton OB/GYN continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of the community.
On June 22, Elizabeth Pehl, MD, along with nurse practitioners Taylor Ruchotzke, ARNP, and Kami Tubbs, ARNP, and their staff, relocated to a larger office at MercyOne Clinton Medical Center Health Plaza, 600 14th Ave. N., in Clinton. The new location will enable the team to offer additional services, including nonstress testing, ultrasound, and convenient on-site lab services, creating a more comprehensive and convenient experience for patients.
At the same time, Dr. Pehl has transitioned her delivery practice to the MercyOne Genesis Davenport Birth Center following the May 26 transition of labor and delivery services from MercyOne Clinton Medical Center to other MercyOne birth centers. She and her team continue to provide prenatal care, gynecologic services, and women's health care locally in Clinton.
“I’m grateful to continue serving the Clinton community and to have the opportunity to deliver babies alongside an outstanding team at the Birth Center in Davenport,” Dr. Pehl said. “My passion has always been caring for mothers and babies throughout their journey, and this transition allows me to continue providing that care while giving patients access to additional resources when they deliver.”
As a Family Medicine Obstetrics physician (FMOB), Dr. Pehl has dedicated her career to caring for women during pregnancy, childbirth and beyond, while also caring for newborns, children and families. This unique, specialized medical path allows her to have a wider role in each family’s journey. Her commitment to continuity of care remains unchanged.
“Supporting women through pregnancy and welcoming new life into the world is more than my profession—it’s my calling,” Dr. Pehl said. “While the location where babies are delivered has changed, my commitment to local families remains the same. I am proud to continue providing prenatal and women’s health services close to home and to help ensure patients receive high-quality, compassionate care every step of the way.”
