MercyOne recognized with Dr. Larry Kraiss award for excellence in vascular care

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is one of 13 medical centers across the United States, Canada, and Singapore to earn the SVS VQI Dr. Larry Kraiss Quality Award—an international honor recognizing sustained excellence in vascular care.

Presented by the Society for Vascular Surgery’s Vascular Quality Initiative®, this award is given to hospitals that have achieved the prestigious three‑star Commitment to Vascular Quality Improvement Award for eight or more consecutive years. 

This recognition reflects the passion and expertise of our vascular care team, whose dedication to data‑driven care and continuous improvement helps ensure outstanding outcomes for every patient, every day.
