Amelia Kundel, MD, is a doctor of internal medicine at MercyOne North Iowa Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Kundel is passionate about patient access to care and the topic of diabetes because of her own battle with insulin resistance. She wants to be an ally and supporter of the diabetic community to ensure people with diabetes can live their best lives. In her free time, she enjoys music and aviation. She has starred in many musicals over the years and attained her pilot’s license in 2012, flying regularly with her father who's also a private pilot.
