Christie received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, and her doctor of podiatric medicine from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. Christie did her residency at Miami VA Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Outside of work, Christie's hobbies include dog walking, supporting her children and baking.
