 I was raised in Mesa, Arizona. I was the first in my family to pursue higher education. I obtained my Bachelor's, two Master's, and Doctorate's degrees. I moved to Iowa in August 2019.

My interests outside of work includes spending time with my wife and children, playing the bass guitar, exercising, and reading. 


I obtained my Bachelor's in psychology from Arizona State University, Master's in clinical psychology from Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University (APA-accredited; Phoenix campus), Master's in addictions counseling from Grand Canyon University, and Doctorate's in clinical psychology at Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University (APA-accredited; Phoenix campus). Throughout my doctoral training, I had rotations in pediatric and adult neuropsychology, adult neuro-rehabilitation, and forensic psychology. I attended the University of Texas Health Science Center (APA-accredited; Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation track; Tyler campus) for my predoctoral internship. Following internship, I completed my two-year neuropsychology residency through the Arizona Postdoctoral Training Consortium (APPIC-accredited). I am in the process of seeking board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology.

I am a clinical and forensic neuropsychologist. My clinical interests include stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and presurgical psychological clearance examinations. My forensic interests include civil, criminal, and industrial claims and with expertise in the diagnosis of somatoform and other functional neurologic conditions, factitious disorders, and identifying cognitive sequelae related to postconcussive syndrome.
