Ellen Wendling, PT, DPT, provides care at MercyOne Genesis Bettendorf Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. Ellen is a board‑certified orthopedic physical therapist who specializes in dance medicine and performing arts. She loves working in orthopedics and has a personal background in competitive dance, fueling her passion for helping active individuals optimize their movement and continue to thrive despite injury. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT), the Iowa Physical Therapy Association (IPTA), the International Association of Dance Medicine Specialists (IADMS), and Doctors for Dancers (DFD). In her free time, Ellen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, baking, and staying involved in the local dance community.
