Jonathan Semaan, DO, is a board-certified cardiologist at MercyOne North Iowa Heart Center.
Dr. Semaan chose cardiology for its balance of intellectual challenge and meaningful patient care. He believes that when cures aren't always possible, providing hope and support remains essential. His training included hands-on experience with cardiac procedures, point-of-care ultrasound and clinical research in cardiogenic shock. Additionally, he has a personal connection to cardiology, as he diagnosed his grandmother’s heart failure.
