Nurse Practitioner Julia Hageman was both professional and friendly. She allowed time for questions and was easy to talk to. Her nurse Amanda was also professional and friendly.
I have seen many health care providers in my lifetime and I can honestly say that Julia is definitely is one of the best, if not the best that I have ever seen. My wife and I both had to find a new provider because our previous family doctor had retired. We saw her for 29 years. Naturally, we were apprehensive to have to search out a new provider. We chose Julia because of her good reviews. Best move I have made concerning health care in a long time! My first appointment was at 3:00 PM. I got there early to fill out any last minute paperwork and then I sat in the waiting area. I was beyond surprised when Amanda (Julia's medical assistant) came out to get me 10 minutes early. That may not be the norm, but that has never happened in my life. Typically, there was a wait. That was a pleasant surprise.Amanda was very nice and easy to talk to. Julia came in afterwards and my impression of her was excellent. She is a great listener, and super easy to talk to. She spent as much time with me as she needed to. I was concerned that because she didn't have my previous medical records that she might be hesitant to continue the same medication regimen that my previous doctor had started. I didn't realize that because my previous doctor was part of Genesis that Julia had access to some of this information already. She even agreed to try a different medication to treat my arthritis. I left that appointment and knew that I had made an excellent choice. I told my wife that night that I thought that she would really like Julia as well when she saw her for the first time the following week. She also thought very highly of Julia.My only regret was not seeing Julia before — we both are so impressed and happy to have her as our family care provider and know that we made a great choice!

Julia is very caring. She went above and beyond in the amount of time she spent with me in order to try to understand my health history and make sure everything was covered to move forward with a plan of care to both be preventive as well as treat existing conditions. She also allowed me to be a part of developing my care plan and taking ownership for changes I need to make in order to maintain health.
