About

Dr. Spooner has always been fascinated with technology. Electrophysiology is an innovative and rapidly-developing field that provides the unique opportunity to potentially cure life-altering heart rhythm problems through a minimally-invasive approach.

Growing up in Iowa, Dr. Spooner learned the value of hard work at a young age. He believes greatly in the value of connecting with people on a personal level.  He likes to try to break down complex medical topics in a way that allows a casual discussion of options to reach shared decisions.

Dr. Spooner is a U.S. Navy veteran. During his 29 years of service he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal (4 awards), the Navy Achievement Medal, Flight Surgeon of the Year and in 2020 he was awarded the U.S. Navy Meritorious Service Medal.
