Nadia Nashi, MD, is a family medicine resident at MercyOne Northeast Iowa Family Medicine & Residency. Conditions she frequently treats include:
- high blood pressure and diabetes
- wellness visits from peds to geriatric
- women’s health
Procedures she performs include:
- Laceration repairs with sutures and suture removal
- Skin biopsies
- Joint aspirations and injections
Dr. Nashi is dedicated to caring for patients of all ages with kindness and respect. She enjoys talking with patients and families about future health care plans and what matters most to them. She especially enjoys caring for older adults and helping them make health care choices that fit their values. She also loves working with teens as they learn to take charge of their health and become more independent.
She is passionate about helping people with mental health concerns and substance use challenges in a caring and understanding way. She believes mental health is an important part of overall health care. Her goal is to build a trusting relationship where you feel heard, respected, and confident in making decisions about your health.
Outside of work, she enjoys visiting historic sites, spending time in nature, assembling Lego sets and diamond painting projects.
