Tammee Stebbins, lymphedema therapist, at MercyOne Katzmann Breast Care, graduated from the University of Kansas with her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. Tammee has a wide work experience in neurology, orthopedics and a specialty in pediatrics. She obtained her certification in lymphedema therapy from Klose Training in 2007 and LANA (Lymphology Association of North America) certification in 2011.
Tammee has been with MercyOne since 1996 and with MercyOne Katzmann Breast Care since 2007. Additional training includes the Strength After Breast Cancer program through Klose Training and Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist certification through the Pink Ribbon Program.
As a lymphedema specialist, Tammee provides education about lymphedema, precautions, prevention, lymphedema management (including comprehensive manual Vodder massage techniques), specialized bandaging, exercise techniques and custom compression garments.
