A Musical Blessing
A Musical Blessing, for string quartet, is an original work commissioned by MercyOne Des Moines Foundation to celebrate the opening of the MercyOne Richard Deming Cancer Center. The piece is written by Nolan Gasser, chief musicologist with Pandora, and explores through music the journey of a cancer patient. It also includes musical elements that are correlated with positive health benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety.
