McKay Center for Breast Health Donations 

Thanks to generous donor support, the Genesis Foundation has funded patient care, staff education, and critical needs at the McKay Center for Breast Health for many years—helping ensure access to high-quality, life-saving care close to home. 

In just the past three years, more than $200,000 has been provided to cover mammograms and other breast health screenings for patients who otherwise could not afford them. 

These screenings are more than routine tests, they save lives. When breast cancer is detected early, the five-year survival rate is more than 99%, compared to significantly lower rates when diagnosed at a later stage. Early detection not only improves outcomes, but also reduces the need for more aggressive treatment. 

Because cost should never stand between a patient and an early diagnosis, the Foundation is committed to raising approximately $100,000 each year to meet the growing demand for these essential services. 

Every gift directly supports breast imaging services for patients who cannot afford them, ensuring more individuals receive the screenings they need, when they need them.
