From the moment you find out you are expecting, to the arrival of your baby and beyond, we are here to support you and your family every step of the way. And, you always have access to free prenatal care through the easy-to-use MercyOne maternity app. This app offers valuable maternal education anytime, anywhere. It features the tools and support you and your baby need to stay healthy throughout pregnancy, prepare for baby’s big arrival and settle into parenthood. It’s also available in 18 languages.
Labor and delivery
As our patient, you will go through labor and delivery in our family-centered MercyOne Genesis Davenport Birth Center or MercyOne Genesis Silvis Birth Center.
Our experienced obstetricians, family medicine physicians, and our advanced trained nursing staff are here to ensure you receive a supportive, personalized care experience.
Postpartum care
Your first follow-up visit should be within four to six weeks after you have your baby. Your postpartum visit may be sooner if you had health issues during pregnancy or if you have specific concerns to address since delivery, such as feelings of depression. At your visit, make sure to let us know any challenges you are having with the following:
- Physical pain
- Issues with urination
- Excessive bleeding
- Breastfeeding
- Fatigue and lack of sleep
- Anxiety or feeling depressed
- Financial worries
It is important for you to take good care of yourself so that you are able to take great care of your baby. Do not hesitate to call with questions or concerns before or after your postpartum visit.
