MercyOne Clinton Medical Center recognized for a century of membership in the American Hospital Association
April 15, 2025The American Hospital Association (AHA) recently presented its 100-year milestone award to MercyOne Clinton Medical Center.
Liz Summy, FACHE, the AHA Regional Executive, presented the award to Mellissa Wood, Chief Operating and Nursing Officer, and Dr. Ashton Nickles, Chief Medical Officer.
The award recognizes MercyOne for 100 years of participation and leadership in the AHA. While the AHA was founded in 1898, the first year of admitting institutional members was 1919. MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is among the AHA’s earliest members.
