MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center is proud to announce that it has received a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the 5th consecutive year.

This rating is based on points earned for health inspections, quality measures, and staffing, and it reflects the level of personalized attention patients receive from nursing staff.

"The five-star rating reflects our commitment to quality care," said Michelle Posten, COO of MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. "The dedicated staff go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of their patients, and this recognition is a testament to their hard work and dedication."

The five-star rating places MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center well above the national average, underscoring its commitment to delivering the highest quality care to its patients. Only 10 percent of hospitals receive this rating.

“Achieving a 5-star rating from CMS is a testament to the power of teamwork, where every member's dedication and collaboration elevate our standards of care, ensuring that we not only meet expectations but exceed them together,” said Robert J. Wethal, VP of Patient Services, MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center.
